Krishna Murthy Institute of Technology and Engineering delightfully feels proud of being a cynosure of Brilliant academic results with 91.59% in an average during B.Tech., 2008-12 batch.The accelerating pace of technological developments has created an ever - increasing demand for highly qualified professional engineers to cater to the burgeoning demand for new products, structures, designs and improved services. These pose a new challenge to the present and future engineers. KITE supported by KRISHNA MURTHY IIT Academy strives to educate and train engineers to use scientific knowledge and problem solving skills to determine the best solution to the problems of today and future. It is expected that student who conscientiously apply themselves and successfully complete one of the engineering programs at KITE will not only be technologically trained, but also humanistically and socially educated, and thereby be well prepared to make a significant contribution to the world in which they work.

THE COLLEGE

*KRISHNA MURTHY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING supported by KRISHNA MURTHY IIT academy offers various courses which provide students with a broad based curriculum that opens the doors to flexible career opportunities in the knowledge based economy. These courses prepare students to become professionals who will be able to meet the dynamic needs of the industry when they graduate.

*KITE is the place where opportunities are provided for students to realize their ambitions, where new ideas are born, where innovative projects materialize, and where students excel in learning.

*Founded in 2007 by highly qualified people, the college is spread over 12 acres of campus in a picturesque environment girdled by smiling greenery with wholesome atmosphere for calm and peaceful pursuit of studies.

*The College has state-of the art teaching facilities supported by qualified and experience faculty to train students in emerging technologies. It is located about 18 km from Uppal.

*The college has state-of-art laboratory facilities for each department besides the English Language and Communication Skills laboratory.

*The collection in our Library includes more than 27000 volumes covering different engineering stream. As many as 48 International, 72 National and more than 40 e-journals are provided for the students.

*The digital library set up in association with SONET provides student and faculty instant access to Indian and Foreign journals in their branches of specialization.

*We have a training and placement cell which in collaboration with Globerena, Times Job, JKC, VISU( GRE, TOFEL) and GATE Forum a pioneer in training and placement caters to the campus recruitment and higher education. The students are encouraged to actively participate in curricular and extra-curricular activities like sports and cultural events.

*The college operates 12 buses on its own from nook and corner of twin cities. We have a canteen that serves fresh and hygienic food and refreshments. .

SPECIFIC APPROACH OF INSTITUTION

Our Institute ensures good discipline and good environment for teaching and learning process in the campus in order to mould each entrant as a good student and good citizen.

Academic schedules are followed precisely as per the University calendar and syllabus completion of all the units in each subject.

Enforce additional coaching to all lagging students for balancing.

To improve communication and presentation skills, students are encouraged to give technical seminars on topics beyond the syllabus. These seminars will be monitored by faculty member in-charge for seminars. A separate slot is allotted in the time table for this activity.

Students are trained by resource persons in business skills and technical skills that will make them prepare to face the job market. For this MoU is on the card with PURPLE LEAP, a subsidiary of Pearson Publishers that will train students in soft skills , technical skills and certification programs that are prerequisite for being employable.

To redress student grievance, faulty mentors are assigned for each class whose task is counsel the students and redress their problems.

In-house mini projects and main projects are encouraged. The department of ECE is signing MoU with Somaroutha Technologies that will establish an incubation centre were the students will be trained and will carry out their projects. The department of CSE has a tie-up with UniSoft, Bangalore, who takes care of the backup of different fortune 500 companies. With this the students are encouraged to carry out their projects in-house. The EEE department encourage students to carry out their projects in live environment in power companies and power utility companies.
